The Challenge
RainbowYOUTH’s mission is to create social change in Aotearoa for rainbow rangatahi. Their website was not helping them achieve this because it was confusing users, lacking coherence and in need of a makeover.
RainbowYOUTH also needed a website designed to engage interest in the organisation's cause and convert donations. And that's not all!
There was also large volume of information and many functionalities that needed to be included. Not just inserted, but designed in a way that would communicate the abundance of content with clarity and enable users to find what they need, quickly. Challenges accepted.
The Solution
We transformed the user interface and user experience, making the website intuitive to use. To achieve a modernised look and feel that would appeal and communicate to RainbowYOUTH's target users, we also strategically selected and edited all of the photography.
The imagery was also chosen to spark interest in donating or getting involved in the cause. To convert interest into action, we placed calls to action in key positions across the website.
Support, resources and advocacy are now more accessible and appealing to Aotearoa’s LGBTIQA+ youth and their communities.
